Community Run for Cats
EVERY WEDNESDAY EVENING
Would you like to get fit and help The Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven cats at the same time?

Would you like to learn to run/walk 5K, 10K, a half-marathon or a marathon?
Or would you simply like the enjoyment, satisfaction and good health that comes from exercising with a dynamic and fun group of people? Come hang out with us!
Join our fitness leader Shelley Hatfield, a passionate runner for over 20 years. She is a certified fitness instructor in Weight Training, Fitness to Music, Boot Camp, Aqua Fit, Yoga, Pilates and First Aid. Shelley has competed in hundreds of events from 5k to marathons, Ironmans, Tough Mudders, and Escape from Alcatraz. You’ll receive personal training from a qualified instructor who will help you achieve your goals. Team “Meowscots” Scooter and Miles will join you at training.
Who: Everyone! Adults of all levels of fitness from couch surfers to sprinters. Individuals with special needs are also welcome.
Where: Meet at Peach Park on the Vedder River Trail. Most runs are from here.
When: Wednesday evenings from 6:45 pm to 7:45 pm. Bring your friends!
Cost: $2 per run which is 100% donated to the Safe Haven.
Experience Mother Nature’s gifts of beauty. We promise rain and snow nights can be magical! We’ll teach you how to dress for all the elements. Bring a good attitude, water and a light. No one is left behind!
Group members receive discounts at Kintec in Chilliwack and Abbotsford.
After your run, Sip N Stretch class is offered with limited spaces from 8-9 pm. Tea is served while you are guided through gentle relaxing stretches. BYOMat and blanket. Cost: $10 per class or $8 if you do the run/walk before.
